Spring Break Puppet Palooza

This year among the other great activities we have at the library we're also hosting Puppet Palooza!

Everyday of Spring Break there will be a fun puppet activity in the library:

Monday Morning

10:30-11:30 AM

Start off your spring break by making your very own felt broad and have fun with stories. (ages 2-8, preregistration required)

Monday Afternoon
4:00-5:00 PM

In the afternoon come by to make a bunch of fun puppets! (ages 2-11, preregistration required)

Tuesday

2:00 pm

Come by to see your favorite puppet characters together again and back putting on a show (all ages)

Wednesday

10:30-11:30 AM  

A second chance to make your own felt board! (ages 2-8, preregistration required)

Thursday

10:30 AM

Jason Ropp of Dragon Puppet Theaters will be here presenting The Reluctant Dragon at our library! (All ages)

Friday

10:30-11:30 AM

Drop by to enjoy some free puppet play time with your family at the library (ages 2-8)

Brick & Little Builders

Brick Builders & Little Builders is a monthly

drop-in program where kids ages 3-5 can play with Duplo® blocks and kids ages 6-11 can play with LEGOs® (in separate areas of the same room).

Please help your child choose the age-appropriate bricks).

This program is held on the second Saturday of every month. Normally we meet in one of the Meeting Rooms, but due to a booking conflict, the March through July sessions will be the Storytime room.

The Power of Cute

No matter who you are you can confront your fears!  The tiny little cutie in this book comes face to face with a big giant, funkily dressed monster.  The monster is flumoxed when the cute baby isn't even afraid of him!  It turns out the cute baby has a super power.  The monster makes some guesses and then decides that baby has no super power!

The baby then pulls out the stops and shows that monster who is boss.  The book has lift-the-flaps and even moveable wheels that depicts monster and baby chasing each other, and baby pulling out the super power.

The monster starts to cry, but baby knows just what to do to save the day!  This book is both cute and has a happy ending.  It is sure to delight your little cutie, too.-SC-
